Lotus Moon Yoga - was founded in 2005 to serve as an oasis amongst the hustle of modern day life. We started by offering classes and workshops that would inspire and encourage people in the community. We believe that incorporating relaxation and meditative awareness into people's lives on a regular basis creates better health, greater well-being and joy!

I have been studying yoga and meditation since the age of 16, when I
attended my first yoga class with my mother in Lake Tahoe. I continued to
study on and off for the next 20 years until I finally committed myself to the practice in 1996 and began to teach in 1997.
In 1999 I completed the Advanced Teacher Training with world-renowned yoga master Erich Schiffmann. His philosophy, "moving into stillness" profoundly affected my life. Training with such an inspiring teacher helped me elevate my own practice and clarify my vision of a style that would reach many people.
In my own life yoga has been the number one healing factor in my journey with Rheumatoid Arthritis, which I had since the age of 2. The deep healing effects of moving the energy and removing toxins from my body (along with the profound restorative effects of deep breathing and relaxation) combined with the emotional and spiritual benefits of a yoga practice, have sent my arthritis into remission several times. My yoga and meditation practice have also allowed me to consciously experience parenting my lovely daughter Malena. Taking what I’ve learned on the mat and applying it to our relationship has truly been a gift, our closeness is a testament to this powerful ancient practice, as well as the blessing of Malena's beautiful spirit.
This is the passion that I follow: helping people find their own inner peace and strength. I am very honored to share what has been for me a profoundly healing and positively transformational journey. Through integrating yoga, meditation and relaxation into my way of life, I now have the tools to create a life of balance and live more often in a state of grace as well as offer something of value to others.
